New York, New York!

Did you know that there are, in fact, other cities in New York state than New York City?  =)  

I am from Rochester, NY.  When I meet someone new, oh this crazy Army life!,  they often ask where I am from.  I answer, New York.  "Really?" they ask.  "Yes, I am from Rochester, NY."  "Is that close to NYC?" "No, I've never actually been."  "No, Way!" "Way!"  

I was lucky enough to have my parents come to Scott AFB for Ella's 5th birthday.  They left their car at my house & we all got in my van for the trip back to Rochester.  It was a long 2 days but we arrived safely.  Now...if I could just find some friends for my boy to play with all would be well.
